  • Sign payables warrants
  • Review mail
  • Documents on SBA from B. Turner
  • Administrative items; write correspondence, review mail, review weekly employee reports, etc.
  • Send letter to departments/positions that job descriptions are not on file for (Tax Collector, Part time Library Staff and Trustees, Lifeguards, Assistant Treasurer)
  • Discuss town insurance: transferring town insurance oversight to Select Board/Melissa/Maynard
  • Discuss departments that have not submitted town report after 3 requests
  • Retiree health insurance fund balance/details
  • Review travel/mileage reimbursement policy for volunteers
  • Discuss documents from Town Clerk regarding Ethics Training; make recommendations on positions to exclude from requirements – Town Counsel provided exemption list
  • FY14 Budget/Annual Town Meeting Warrant
  • ECAC Recommendations to discuss further:
  • Instituting a two tiered town/employee split
  • Exploring adding a couples tier to the current health insurance plans offered

  • Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 39 § 23C:  Regulation of participation by public in open meetings.  No person shall address a public meeting of a governmental body without permission of the presiding officer at such meeting, and all persons shall, at the request of such presiding officer, be silent. If, after warning from the presiding officer, a person persists in disorderly behavior, said officer may order him/her to withdraw from the meeting, and, if he/she does not withdraw, may order a constable.
